Week 0, Saturday

[Hey Sebastian! Rin has been kicked out of the kitchen again, but he at least managed to cook some food before he got kicked out. He's carrying a plate full of these little dumpling things when he walks by.]

week 1 monday

10. You open the door and find yourself standing on a seemingly endless road of rainbow loops around in dazzling colors with no barriers in sight. It’s live and die gloriously on the Rainbow Road out here, binches. A huge variety of vehicles are lined up: go-karts, bikes, pick-up trucks, a very confused horse, motorcycles, etc. It seems like someone making this might not be super familiar with your concept here, but is trying hard. As you start driving around it, you can race your fellows in good sport (or bad sport) - there’s friendly signage posted to see how many laps you’ve done, and countdown timers, all the things you’d expect. Unfortunately you’ll find each one of these vehicles is increasingly hard to control, and it might just send you careening off the edge and into endless space … and down … and down … it seems there’s no one to fish you out of it. You get the feeling that you will have to race to get out of here. If you fall, you will fall for an exceedingly long time, feeling as though someone is laughing at you, before you find yourself back in the hallway, disoriented and sore, as if you've just been in an accident - although there is no physical injury on you. If you somehow manage to win your race without falling, you will find yourself out in the hallway again, a little disoriented but vaguely prideful. If you lose your race without falling, you find yourself out in the hallway again, disoriented and motion sick. Only four minutes have passed.

week 2, monday

[ A little bit after watching Rin run back in the door and race off to his room, Sebastian (with the ears and fluffy tail of a top pomeranian, which is fine) knocks on his door to see what's up. ]

Rin's hair is currently white with a blue ombre at the end, a feature that is much more distinct now that his hair is longer. And he has it out of its ponytail when he opens the door to see Sebastian.]

Week 2, Saturday

[This one takes place out in Annkeen, because I say so.

Rin is at the housing district, standing near one of the four buildings there. His hand hovers over the door handle, but at the last moment he chickens out and walks away. Instead he'll go over to the fountain in the courtyard and sit on the ledge there. That's where he'll be when he sees Sebastian.]

Oh, hey.

[ Sebastian doesn't see him at first, and jumps a little as he turns to look over toward the fountain. He's very obviously been crying a lot. ]

week 3, monday

[ Sebastian will head over to Rin whenever he sees him, and then, poof... stardust and a memory (from 17:12 to 18:49).

Hey, what do you know, it's that one statue guy from the courtyard. ]

Rin won't say that though, because he is honestly not getting why Sebastian is getting dunked on. He's a dumb boy.]

Week 3, Saturday

[Hey friendo let's be upset together! Rin is supposed to be looking for new shoes at the costume closet but fuuuuuuck that he's too upset to really think about clothes right now.]

[ Well, Sebastian's just crying again, so I guess they can just stand here and be upset together for a while. ]

week 3, sunday

[ sometime a little after the execution, after he went and grabbed one of the staff to take care of marie's wound, sebastian comes back to rin's room. he still needs to go and get his task assignment, but 1) he still feels kind of queasy and he just needs a break, and 2) he realized sometime after his previous submission that the request for a tip wasn't actually asking for advice, so he wants to see if he can grab one of the cookies from last night for that.

so, he's here, and he knocks on the door. ]

[The door opens! Rin is there, looking tired.]

Hey...did you take care of Marie?

Week 4, Friday

[It's time for the weenie squad to cry it out! Rin is going looking for Sebastian, where is he?]

[ Great question!! He's running around trying to find out whatever he can, so he's probably just in the lobby or something. He's in much better shape than he was last week, so he's trying to take advantage of that.

He'll hurry over to meet Rin whenever they see each other though. He knows he and Kaeya were both in the same place before, so this is probably rough. ]

Week 4, Saturday

[Rin is in his room! He's just laying down and resting because his head is throbbing right now. Rinkou is also on his bed curled up next to him, trying to comfort him as much as a wolverine can, but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

Even if it's late when Sebastian arrives, it's fine. Rin isn't going to sleep much tonight anyway. He'll move to sit up when Sebastian arrives too.]

Hey...I...

[He trails off though, because he doesn't know what to say.]

[ He stays a few feet away, crossing his arms. ]

Did you really not get it after last week? That they can make anyone do anything?

Week 5, Friday

[Even if he hasn't seen Sebastian yet today, he has a feeling that the guy is having A Time today. Time to go track him down! He intends on dragging Sebastian off to make sure he eats and stays hydrated, but it all depends on where he finds Sebastian and what state he's in when Rin finds him.

He'll check Sebastian's room first, but then wander around the hotel if he's not there. Pspspsps come out baby prosecutor.]

[ yeah, he can probably find him in his room! he's... okayish. getting some sleep helped, even though he still needs a lot more.

he opens the door and peeks out. ]

Week 6, Thursday

[It's the middle of the day and all Rin can do is wait for whoever went away on CYOAs to come back. So he's laying down on his back on one of the couches in the lobby and looking through a pack of trading cards he got recently, holding the cards up over his face as he inspects them. Whatever cards he got, they seem to be troubling him enough to make him frown thoughtfully. He's not upset or anything, just pensive.

Come see what he's looking at, Sebastian. The card he's looking at right now is visible at least.]

[ he leans over and peers at the card rin's holding. ]

week 6, friday

Rin's eyes are red and he's sniffling a bit, but he's here.]

Week 6, Sunday

[Rin is at the cemetery! It's not his usual stomping grounds- bar the one time he tried to talk to Kazu by talking at his grave- but it's been a long day and he just wants to be close to someone he misses a lot. Even if that person is dead.

Which is to say, Rin is sitting on Hua Cheng's grave, his back resting against the headstone. He's probably getting dirty from the freshly-turned soil, but it's fine. He can wash his clothes later.]

I hate that I was right, you know. About what was gonna happen at trial.

[Is he saying that to Hua Cheng's grave, or to Sebastian? Maybe it's both at once.]

[ sebastian pauses on his way to all of the week 3 graves when he hears rin's voice. ...he's not sure who he's talking to either, and he looks a little uncomfortable about answering. ]

...Sorry. Without having any solid suspects until it was too late... I think it was the best option we had.

[ truthfully, even if they did have the others figured out, he might have still voted this way. it's not about vengeance or anything, it's just... whoever bears the most personal responsibility for their actions should take that responsibility, he thinks.

...his feelings are a little more complicated after talking to harrow, but he still thinks this is right. he doesn't regret his vote.

he just... feels bad that rin has to feel bad. ]
