Technically they're more than that. Or, well, actually, I think they're less?

They're a Servant. Which is a fancy way to say that they're a really powerful familiar based on someone from, like, history or fairy tales, or something. We're supposed to used them to fight in that Holy Grail War I mentioned a week ago, but I really didn't want to fight, you know? I mostly just wanted to make friends with the other Servants. And, as my Servant, Jack the Ripper, they were my very first friend in that Grail War.
Well that's just how everyone calls them. It's like...the term.
[ his ears turn a bit red? but he gets it. ]
I thought it would be so much better to make friends rather than fight. I mean-- we had to fight others anyway, and we lost pretty badly, but we did our best! And I definitely think that they thought of me as a friend.
We found a Servant that was extremely strong. And then they did this thing that was, like, totally cheating and took Jack's powers from him. And that's like...well, it's kind of like if someone went and took your demon out from you. Actually, that's exactly what happened to them too.
