Nah, I think I have all the bad luck this week. We barely had any time to build a fort together. It just felt wrong, to let you go on thinking that nobody like likes you.

...though uh, if it upsets you, I can stop.

That's not a fair way to look at things. I'm sure most of the people who voted for me did so reluctantly. Liking me has nothing to do with it.

[Rin's words trail off there though, like he has something on his mind.]

[It's hard to tell exactly when the switch happens. This isn't a fight, so the more demonic half of Rin's soul isn't making a grand entrance. Allen might notice a change in pupil shape though- from 'round with cat-like slits' to 'wavy and tri-tipped'- but otherwise the shift is a silent one.

Up until this Rin abruptly reaches out to grab the front of Allen's shirt to bring him closer to the bars and look at him. Studying him, like he's looking for an answer.]

[Allen, for his pat, merely lets his smile shift to something a less honest, more bitter. this is Rin, but at the same time, not the Rin he's known. so there's a bit more of a guard up, but--]

What is it? There's not much to look at, I'm afraid.

[It's hard to know exactly what a demon is thinking. Their thought process is so alien to humans. But something about what Allen says makes the demon grin in away that doesn't seem too dangerous, but still excessively sharp nonetheless.]

Sure. He's actually right for once, you're one of the most interesting people here. You can belong to us.

[He says that like Allen should be honored that he's one of Rin's favorites, like it's a privilege everyone should be vying for.

And he just. Yanks Allen forward and crushes their lips together in a kiss meant less for expressing feelings and more for claiming.]

and it's only because this is a part of Rin that Allen doesn't do anything immediately about it except let it happen for a moment.]

[and then he's putting some force into breaking the kiss so he can tilt his head back to headbutt Rin pretty damn forcefully.]

As charming as your demon half is, Rin, I don't take very kindly to being treated like a possession. So you had better make up for that.

[Wow what a headbutt. It's enough of a surprise to get the two Rins to shift again, with the demon dipping to the back of Rin's mind as he laughs hysterically at Allen's reaction. But the laughter can only be heard verbally for a moment or two, because then the more human Rin is back and he's rubbing at his forehead in confusion.]

What- but what just-

[It was too short of a switch for him to even be aware that a switch happened. Though the laughs in the back of his mind are enough to set him in a panic.]

I'm sorryyyyyy! I don't know what he did, but I'm sorry! He's an asshole!
