If they're telling us now, did the angel's control wear off at some point, or are they still under it? Are they aware of any of the other killers, do they know one another or work together in some way? Do they know of any specific reason why they were chosen?
And we ought to also ask about their daemon, if they noticed anything unusual about it after the way you did.
Then there is the question of whether we want to try to glean their identity in some way. I think it would be a poor idea, yes? It might scare them off.
