Good idea. I'm not sure we'll be able to find eggs, but there is rice and plenty of vegetables, as well as broth.

[he's cutting veggies but he can do that while talking.]

. . . Yes. I don't think there's much purpose in believing in such fantasies, I'm afraid.

[At first he thinks that's surprising, but after a moment he realizes that no, it's really not. Susato is definitely more of a pragmatist.]

I wish I knew. Mr. Roxis fell asleep right there in the garden alongside us.

And the killers can't really tell us anything either.

[Another sigh, and he nudges the cut veggies off to the side of the cutting board.]

This is the time we really need answers too, if three people are dead. We can barely figure out one murder, how are we gonna figure out three?

We will have to be meticulously organized. I was thinking I would draw up some schedules, but Miss Yelena said she did not think most people would be likely to follow them. . .

Yeah, I don't think they would either. People like to follow their own paths. We'd be better off having everyone keep diaries after the fact stating what they did and who they saw, and look for things that're wrong that way.
