Don't tell me that Qi Rong guy is actually a demon and we gotta fight him. I don't even have my flames right now.

But I'm talking about the person you chose to reveal your demonic traits to during the investigation.

I didn't really have a choice. We're twins, there's no way they'd accept that we're being completely honest about each other. And he- he seemed reliable?

[Rin is rubbing at his own shoulder while glancing away. The nervousness is very clear.]

I think he might try. [Yukio's daemon glitches into dog form with a sparkle of gold dust, then back to alligator. She's been sticking pretty consistently to that form since somewhere in the middle of the trial.]

If something like this happens again, make sure you don't give him a reason to suspect you.

I'm not gonna start any fights.

[Doubtful. He always starts fights.]

But just be careful. Don't do anything he might find suspicious, or inspire anyone to hold a grudge against you.

[His face falls a little when Yukio doesn't affirm Rin's words.

Yeah...we'll find a way home. Then we can get the Order on top of all of this or something.

I think they have better things to do than deal with all of this. Sir Pheles might take an interest, but most of the Order wouldn't mind if you stayed here.

I thought we were looking for a way home? Why would I stay here?

We are, nii-san. [At least if Yukio's sounding slightly annoyed that's better than polite distance.]

The Order won't bother to deal with this, and most of them wouldn't mind throwing you back here if they could.

Probably not. We've had to lie about so much stuff already just to be believed.
