Hypothetically speaking, if a sword were to be cracked in battle and had to be repaired, is that something that would affect their personality? Just wondering. Just in case that ever happened- not saying it has! But you know. Battles are tough, fighting's tough...stuff happens?
[A few minutes later, Rin will be down in the lobby, looking at the revolving door while he waits for Tsurumaru. He still seems a little unsure, but he's trying to steel himself for a difficult conversation.]
Nah, I've been drinking plenty. The guys left me some when they brought me back here.
[Rin's room is structured like a dorm room. He's got a neat cubby-bed with a roll-down screen which is currently a mess of pillow and blankets since he doesn't make his bed. The standing wood closet at the back of the room is mostly-empty right now, since Rin's dirty clothes are in a pile on the ground nearby, waiting for a chance for him to do laundry. On his plain desk is a stack of shoujo manga he got from the library, as well as a couple dirty plates and cups. There's also a clean glass of water and a plate with some crackers on it. There is also a blue bean bag chair on the floor, which looks like its normally a bed for a small wolverine given how much hair is on it but it's currently unoccupied.
The most notable feature, however, is that the room is just like a dorm room. Meaning there is a second set of everything, mirrored in setup to how Rin's side is set up. This side is completely lacking in anything personal though: no clothes, no bedding, nothing. In fact, it looks like it's been left largely untouched, with Rin keeping everything on his side of the room.
Rin will pull up one of the two wooden chairs and sit down on it backwards, leaning his arms over the back side of it. He's still got his eyes on Tsurumaru though, and the other chair is available if he wants it.]
[ while tsuru isn't incredibly attached to the camp, he is a lot more fond of the village if you ignore the murder. so when they pop out near the shrine, he laughs. ]
Weekend 0, Friday
I guess that's true. I kinda wonder if he'll ever get a cool human form though. It'd be fun to have a traveling buddy.

What do you think his personality would be like?
no subject
I...don't know. What kinda things decide what a guy's personality is gonna be when he's a sword?
no subject
I believe it's a mix of... our histories. Things like who our owners were, how we were treated as tools, the eras we lived through...
So, a sword who never saw battle, for example, would likely have different feelings about war than one who has.
no subject
Er...I see...
[He suddenly looks nervous.]

no subject
he has to think about it. ]
Ha ha ha, possibly! But it might also depend on how you react-- if you go and get the sword repaired right away, it'll probably be fine.

well, if the chair is there, tsuru will settle down on it. he sets his sword over his lap. ]
Are you doing alright?

[Both during and after trial.]
