Good. I was so worried about doing it wrong and messing things up. In my world there's so many gods and spirits and shit and you have to say the prayers exactly right or they won't listen to you. But I'm not good at memorizing exact words, and I was panicked anyway, so...

That guy was an asshole, but it's nothing you need to apologize for. I know people like that. People who attack others just to hurt their actual target in the feelings instead of in the body. If anything, that just tells me that you care so much about me that someone else tried to use me to hurt you.
