it can't be. he shakes his head. ] A ghost helped you through, you say? Something similar happened to us in the catacombs.
Yeah. And then we ended up in a place that was like...I think it was called Eden? And there was an angel there- not one of our Watchers, but someone else- and a big snake. And then this other angel showed up and killed the first one and the snake went crazy and attacked us.
I mean, I don't know much about it. We didn't actually make it all the way there, the ground opened up under us eventually. But it was...I dunno. It felt like I had to go there. It was like I couldn't fight going even if I wanted to.
[It was creepy.]
The ghost was helpful. He was trying to save others much weaker than him, and he saved our asses a few times too. I wish I knew who he was...he never told us his name.
In the catacombs, we were led by a young woman who we couldn't see very clearly, but.. when I got close to her, I realized that she had gold dust coming off of her arm.
