[Were you planning on having a nice quiet evening? Sorry about that, the door's being slammed open and Yukio's thrown through it to land heavily on his back on the ground.

(Power might have noticed it just a few moments ago, the feeling of white-hot anger, small injuries appearing from a fight).]

[And who is his assailant, you might ask? That question won't be left unanswered for long, because a couple seconds after Yukio comes bursting through the door Rin dives in, frothing with rage and going right for Yukio.]

[van Zieks is just fucking Sitting Here. Probably drinking tea? And this fucking happens. He puts his tea down and stands up.]

[Oh, did van Zieks want an answer? He isn't getting one, because Yukio's getting right back up to his feet to respond to Rin's headlong rush.

There's also a daemon fight happening, Yukio's daemon in dog form, snapping and snarling at Rin's wolverine, trying to sink her teeth into the wolverine's throat.]

[Yukio sure isn't paying attention to anyone in the room other than his twin.]

[For half-a-second, Rin does hear van Zieks. His attention is split. Though his focus goes entirely onto Yukio when they crash into each other, and Rin tries to grab onto Yukio wherever he can. He only wants to throttle Yukio a little bit, it's fine!]

Why don't you just shut the fuck up already?!

[Wolverines are vicious animals btw. Miki can bite into Rinkou, but Rinkou is going to claw the everloving shit out of whatever she can reach while hissing.]

Adelheid shifts into harpy eagle form with a loud shreik, before swooping in to snatch whichever of the twin's daemons is smaller idk what sort of dog Miki is. You are Being Separated.

Van Zieks, meanwhile, is grabbing Yukio by the back of his shirt.]

No one is dying tonight while I'm awake. Cease this behavior at once!
[He is using his Objection voice.]

[Miki is grabbed. Very uncomfortable, and she turns her snapping jaws against Adelheid for a moment before she realizes what's going on and settles for just snarling and growling instead, all fluffed up and her attention still focused on Rinkou.]

Let go of me! [Yukio says, struggling against van Zieks' grip on his shirt.]

[van Zieks may have grabbed Yukio, but nobody grabbed Rin.

Which means that Rin is absolutely going to try decking Yukio in the face. And Rinkou is trying to jump on both eagle and dog and bite whatever she can.]

[ Go Ritty go! And by go Ritty, it means the thing is turning into a black fox and jumping on Rinkou, growling at him. Power, on the other hand, considers it.

And then yeah she's pissed at Rin for some reason (it's because Yukio is), so she's going to abruptly sock him too. ]

[ She didn't quite say that but sure. She is very annoyed by you two's shenanigans this whole week you know!!! If you're gonna fight, include her damn!!! ]

I will not let go. There is a very real possibility that someone is going to be murdered tonight. Are you quite out of your mind that you think now is the time for whatever juvenile squabble this is?

It's past time for this. [Yukio says, but he's stopped struggling.

This is going to have to wait. It's not over, but it will have to wait for now.]

[Waiting? What's 'waiting'? Rin looks like he's not about to stop until either he or Yukio is beat to a bloody pulp-

But then Power punches him in the face too and he's left reeling from it.]

[He looks like Power's violence and van Zieks' words have gotten Rin to stop attacking! No death in the curfew log this week. But now Rin is rubbing at his face and looking upset and hurt.]

[...or maybe he'll just keep yelling instead of fighting. Rinkou is swiping at Adelheid and hissing but isn't rushing to attack anymore either.]
