his dodge out of the way is more of a pivot on the ball of his foot, as the punch sails wide. he doesn't strike back yet, because he's feeling out rin, too, and instead changes his weight to the other foot, lightly, moving instead to bring up his wrist to block if another punch comes. all the while, that gleam of genuine joy never leaves his face. ]
