Week 2, Monday

[So. Bradley. Guess what.

Right now Rin's hair is light blue, and it's tied up like it's been for a while now. He just happens to be walking by too, completely unaware of just how much he looks like Nero when his hair is like this.]

[battling]

[ He does a double take?!? ]

Nero?

[aono]

[Rin blinks and looks around suddenly, not even realizing Bradley is talking to him.]

He's here? Where?

[battling]

Nevermind.

[That's not his husband, he doesn't sound like Sasuke.]

[aono]

[You frumpy binch.

Luckily, Rin has an idea.]

You're missing him right now, huh?

[battling]

[ Well ... Yes, but he doesn't want to admit to that. ]

[aono]

[Rin grins, and then he motions for Bradley to follow him. They have to go to Rin's room so he can get his notepad and pen.]

[battling]

[ He'll follow, his seagull wings flapping slightly in annoyance of being told what to do. ]

[aono]

[He bulli

But no, once they're at his room he'll grab his notepad and pen and hand it to Bradley.]

Write him a letter! Write down everything you wanna tell him right now.

[battling]

D'ya say this to everybody who misses people?

[ Nero would throw this in his face and get mad ]

[aono]

It's what I do when I miss Yukio.

[Don't be mean he's trying to help!!!]

I mean, I know he can't read any of 'em. But just writing them helps me feel better.

[battling]

Who?

[ Bradley has not met this teenager ]

[aono]

[Oh right.]

My brother.

[battling]

He can't read 'em? You're sure?

[aono]

Nah, I don't send 'em anywhere. I just write the stuff down and put it in my desk.

[battling]

I'll write it on my own.

[ Where a teenager won't read it. Thank you. ]

Week 2, Saturday

[aono]

[Bradley will get to see Rin in the lobby, where he's staring at the revolving glass door and wondering if he should go through it or not. He's had a lot on his mind all day, and his thoughts are just getting muddled.]

...I should go back, before it disappears again.

[What do you think, Bradley?]

[battling]

[He takes a moment to watch Rin dithering in front of the door]

D'ya even wanna? If that place makes ya that miserable why go?

[aono]

[He glances over to Bradley, and he wonders for a moment if he should say anything.]

I dunno, unresolved business or something? I never let go of it all those months ago, and this'll probably be my last chance to try again.

[battling]

[He doesn't need to say anything if he doesn't want to.]

The past will never change. Ya know that, right?

[aono]

I know. But I gotta, like, accept it or something, yeah?

[battling]

What d' ya mean when ya say you don't accept it?

[aono]

I killed somebody, but I didn't get executed for it. And most people didn't really blame me for it, especially not after all the dead came back. I mean, there were a couple people who hated me for it, but most people just kinda...accepted it. And by the time the next week happened, it was largely forgotten.

But I can't forget what I did, and I can't move on. Even if nobody blames me for it, I still feel like I haven't done enough to make up for it.

[battling]

[Compulsions, or something else? Isn't that pretty standard fair when it comes to these sort of places? But it sure seems to weigh heavy on him.

Bradley's not really that kind of justice minded person who cares about things like that. Kill or die, that's how it is in the North.]

Do you think goin' back will help settle it? Or is it just gonna be reopenin' your regrets?

That's the thing, I don't know.

[He sighs.]

I wish my old man were still around. He might have some good advice right about now.
